Yes, your summerhouse will require a strong, level base. If you don’t have one in place, we can install a purpose-built timber raft base that ensures proper drainage and a solid foundation from day one.
Are your summerhouses fully treated?
Yes. Every summerhouse is made from slow-grown redwood timber and is fully treated inside and out at the factory to protect against moisture, insects, and rot.We reconmend treatment within 6months with a clear oil or preservative.
How weatherproof are your buildings?
Our summerhouses are designed for the British climate, with options including polyester-reinforced roofing felt or rubber roof upgrades. Tongue & groove panels and pressure-treated timber ensure strong resistance to weather.
Can you handle everything from start to finish?
Yes! We offer a full service — including base preparation, build, delivery, and installation — all done by our in-house team. No subcontractors, no stress.
What kind of security is included?
Each summerhouse comes with heavy-duty hinges, secure door ironmongery, and mortice lock and key. You can also upgrade with your additional security features.
How long does installation take?
We typically install our summerhouses in just 3–4 weeks from order, depending on size and spec. Our team handles everything so your space is ready to enjoy as quickly as possible.
